2025–2026 Cathedral Concert Series
September 14th at 2pm – “Celestial Light”
VoxO will pair up with Canon Musician Michael Petrosh along with brass players from the Orlando Contemporary Chamber Orchestra to present “Celestial Light.” Meaningful works by living composers celebrate the wonder of the heavens, culminating in “Seek Him That Meath the Seven Stars” by Jonathan Dove. This exciting piece for organ and voices will feature special guests: The Central Florida Youth Chorus.
November 9th at 6pm – Evensong
The Cathedral Choir leads Evensong, the choral version of Evening Prayer. Combining elements of Latin Vespers and Compline, this liturgy was initially penned for the first Book of Common Prayer in 1549 by Thomas Cranmer, Archbishop of Canterbury, and is still sung in Anglican churches and cathedrals around the world.
December 21st at 6pm – Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols
The Cathedral Choir and Chorister combine to offer the familiar liturgy of Christmas Lessons and Carols. Come to hear both familiar and new carols, as the story of Christmas is told through word and music.
December 24th at 10:30pm – Prelude Music to Midnight Mass
The Cathedral Choir is joined by a string quartet to offer a variety of Advent and Christmas carols as prelude to the 11pm liturgy. The main piece featured this year is Francesco Durante’s Magnificat in B-flat (formerly attributed to Giovanni Battista Pergolesi).
January 11th at 2 pm – Happily Ever After: A Tribute to the Great American Musical

March 15th at 2pm – “Saluting America”

May 17th at 3:30pm – Evensong for the 150th Anniversary of the Cathedral and 100th Anniversary of the Central Florida Chapter of the American Guild of Organists
The choir of All Saints Episcopal Church, Winter Park, joins the Cathedral Choir for a service of sung evening prayer. Commissioned Preces and Responses, Evening Canticles, and anthem will make their world premieres in this celebration. The cathedral will welcome back famed British organist, conductor, and composer, Malcolm Archer to direct the premiere of his anthem.
You’re Invited
Welcome to an exciting season of music at Downtown Orlando’s Episcopal Cathedral. Come and hear your favorite annual programs and delightful Sunday Matinée Concerts, with some of the best sacred music in Central Florida or anywhere.
The Cathedral Welcomes You
Everyone is invited free of charge, although offerings are always appreciated. Receptions follow many performances – please stay so we can meet you. Parking is always free. And free childcare is available often. Just check our website for updates and more information.
Two Formats
The Cathedral’s annual concert season features two different formats -- Sunday Matinee Concerts and a Sacred Music Series. On Sundays at 2 p.m or Matinees will feature a wide variety of musicians and musical styles from classical to modern, jazz, Broadway, folk, and patriotic. These incredibly talented artists come from Central Florida and beyond, even overseas. Our Sacred Music Series, however, features the Cathedral's own fine choirs and musicians, as they sing and lead beautiful worship in special services on Sunday evenings at 6 p.m., or for certain other occasions.
Always Park Free During Concerts!
For all music events, parking is free in the public lot on Washington at Magnolia. Also, downtown street meters are free all day on Sundays. Or park in the Regions Bank garage: Enter the up-ramp on Washington and receive an Entrance ticket. Please do not park in the spaces marked “Reserved” on Sundays. At the Cathedral, pickup an Exit ticket from an usher. Then using those two tickets, exit the garage free of charge.
