Sunday Mornings, 9am

The Dean's Hour, Great Hall

"What Christians Believe" Dean Reggie Kidd and Canon Josh Bales will be team teaching this brief series on the basics of the Christian faith.  Whether you are a new believer or a longtime person of faith, this class will assist you in drawing closer to Jesus Christ by learning about God's Story: Creation, Fall, Redemption, and Response.

Monthly Fellowship Breakfast

On the first Sunday of each month, the Cathedral hosts a parish-wide breakfast in the Great Hall at 9 a.m. This breakfast is a wonderful way to enjoy food and fellowship with the people of God. All proceeds from the Fellowship Breakfasts support our EYC Youth program and their mission to Our Little Roses in Honduras.

Wednesdays: EAT, PRAY, GROW

Each Wednesday night in the Fall and Spring semesters we gather to eat, pray, and grow together as a parish. Come early at 5:45 p.m. for Evening Prayer in the Armed Forces Chapel. Then enjoy dinner in the Great Hall at 6:15 p.m. Various classes take place immediately following at 7 p.m. And the evening concludes with praying together the brief Office of Compline from the Book of Common Prayer at 7:50 p.m. This season’s Wednesday night offerings include a study of the book of Galatians by Canon Josh Bales (in Saint Mary's Parlor), and a book study, by Dean Reggie Kidd, of Shusaku Endo's "Silence," a masterpiece of historical fiction exploring the theme of God's silence during the realities of loneliness, alienation, and despair.  This book was recently made into a feature film and has sparked much discussion on the topic of Christianity around the world.  Please register below to help us prepare for your place at dinner and in the classes!

Youth Ministry

Youth Confirmation Class

Join the Cathedral's Family Ministries Priest, Adam Young, to explore the foundations of our faith. This is for all high school and middle school students every Sunday morning during the 9 a.m. Sunday School hour in the EYC Room beginning January 15, through the end of March. Contact Adam with questions at ayoung@stlukescathedral.org.

E.Y.C. (Episcopal Youth Christians)

At EYC, we connect with High school and Middle School Students to provide a fun and safe place for youth to make life long friendships, connect with adult leaders who care about who they are, and begin or deepen their relationship with God.

Most EYC Youth ministry programming takes place in the Great Hall at The Cathedral Church of St Luke. During the year, both high school and middle school students can join us from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Sundays for EYC.

Be on the lookout for a ton of other events, activities, and retreats.

Children's Ministry

Story Time at the Yergey Library

Story Time at the Yergey Library

Our Mission is to invite all to know, love and serve God through Christ Jesus. Children from ages 3 to grade 5 are welcome in our program! The children have a place to call their own: Children's  Activity Room, Children's Chapel and Sunday School classrooms are all places of fun and discovery as children learn Bible truths.

There are many opportunities for fellowship, worship, fun, service and education. We also provide activities for families to join together and form relationships with each other. We invite your child to come and grow in Christ with our Cathedral family.

For more information, please e-mail Susie Dunlap or phone her at 407.849.0680, ext. 215.

We are so happy you have found your way here and pray that will find a joyful and supportive home for your family at the Cathedral. Beginning and traveling the journey of parenthood can be an extraordinary undertaking, and the ministries at the Cathedral have been designed to help families along the way. Our Nursery Director, Sonya, and her staff are well trained, loving, and look forward to seeing you and your baby at the nursery soon.

All of our volunteers and staff have been trained in the Safeguarding Children program and have completed a thorough background check.

Please call 407-849-0680 (Cathedral office) or e-mail Sonya at nursery@stlukescathedral.org, if you have any questions about the nursery at the Cathedral. Also, the Nursery Ministry plans many events throughout the year, to give parents opportunities to get together with other parents for fun and fellowship. Let us know if you'd like to join in.
