Song of Mary

Serving & Giving Thanks

“Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these . . . you did it to me.” On Thanksgiving morning in 2015, over 70 volunteers from the Cathedral woke up early to come to the Cathedral and serve breakfast to hungry brothers and sisters in Orlan- do, many of whom were homeless. Please join us again this year as we express our gratitude to God through this same service opportunity.

Cantate Domino

 

25th Anniversary of Cathedral Musician, Canon Ben Lane

Cantate Domino means "Sing to the Lord!" and is the name of our October 2nd celebration in honor of Cathedral Musician, Canon Ben Lane. We will celebrate his 25 years of ministry to the Cathedral with a special breakfast at 9 a.m. in the Great Hall, Holy Eucharist at 10:15 a.m., a concert by famous local composers and musicians at 2 p.m. (featuring multiple world premiers), and a 4 p.m. reception. Bishop Brewer will speak about the role of the Cathedral as a patron of the arts. This will be a day full of joy, mu- sic, and gratitude to God for Canon Ben Lane and a tribute to the talented musicians in Central Florida.
